The Restoration of The Haveli was completed in 2009.
The Haveli is the Residence of Shariq Bin Raza, its owner, his wife Alka Raza and son Sahil Raza. It has been named “Shikwa - Mehrabon Wali Haveli”. Today, commanding a majestic view of the Yamuna, the fields and the vast plains as far as the eyes can see, the Mehrabon Wali Haveli is adorned with Chajjas, Chhatris, hundreds of mehrabs, arches, pillars and columns, stone jalis, jharokas, fountains, and exquisite doors.
The Mehrabon Wali Haveli has been aesthetically, tastefully, elegantly and artistically furnished reflecting the lives, the memories and the invaluable collections of Shariq, Alka and Sahil from around the world.
Shikwa - Mehrabon Wali Haveli, has two major wings; a Reception Area and the Principal Wing which has various courtyards, halls and lounges - The Golden Hall, The Burma Lounge, The Africa Lounge, The Euro Lounge and The Personal Lounge; a Crystal Room - the Dining Hall, a Music Room, The Tea Room, The Library/Study, a Gym, a Baradari on the top floor, a Garden, a Bamboo Garden and a Rooftop Terrace Garden.
Mehrabon Wali Haveli has a number of guest rooms. The Rider’s Room and the Hunter’s Room; both attached to Africa Lounge. The Judge’s Room is attached to the Euro Lounge and the Princess Room opens in the principal courtyard. The Peacock Room and The Pearl Room opening in the balcony overlooking the principal courtyard.
The Haveli has indoor recreation; Pool Table, Carrom and Cards Tables, Darts, TV lounge, Chess Sets and Board Games.
